How We Choose the Instructors and Experts We Work With

Ever noticed how some companies seem willing to work with just about anyone who can put together a slide deck?

That’s not us.

At Awesomely, who we work with matters just as much as what we teach. Because when someone signs up for one of our programs, they’re trusting not only the content — they’re trusting the people behind it.

And trust isn’t something we hand out lightly.

Why This Topic Matters

Plenty of education companies operate like open marketplaces. If you’ve got a course and a pitch, you’re in.

But that “anything goes” model usually means the burden falls on the customer to figure out who’s legit and who’s not.

That’s ☝ not fair, is it?

So why write a public article about how we choose instructors and experts?

Because we think people deserve to know how seriously we take this.

When you understand the filter we use, you understand the heart of Awesomely.

Our North Star: Do They Practice What They Preach?

We don’t want theorists. We want practitioners.

Every instructor we work with must have a proven track record in the strategy they’re teaching — whether that’s real estate, crypto, or stock options. It’s not enough to know the theory; they have to be doing it in real life, right now.

If someone can’t show us that, they won’t be teaching here. Period.

For example, when we considered bringing in an options trading instructor, we didn’t just look at their slides. We asked for live trading records, real deal documentation, and evidence that they’d been doing it consistently over years.

Only after seeing that proof — and watching them teach in a way that broke down complex strategies into simple steps — did we greenlight their program.

The Cultural Fit Test

Skills matter, but so does character.

We only work with people who share our student-first ethos: treat people with respect, be transparent about risks, and celebrate real progress instead of hyped-up promises.

Another example: During early conversations with a potential crypto partner, we noticed how often they redirected the spotlight from themselves to their students’ small wins.

That humility and focus told us more than any résumé could.

Contrast that with others we’ve passed on — people who wanted to lead with flashy cars and screenshots. That kind of hype may sell, but it doesn’t serve.

In other words, no “gurus” who want to hide behind Lamborghinis or cherry-picked screenshots.

If someone’s values don’t line up with Awesomely’s mission, we pass — no matter how big their following might be.

Listening to Our Community

Sometimes the best ideas for new programs come straight from the people in our community. When we notice repeated requests around a certain topic, we start paying attention.

But we don’t just rush to fill the gap.

We ask:

  • Who could teach this responsibly?
  • Who’s got a provable track-record of success in this?
  • Who could we trust to equip people, not exploit them?

Only after we find someone who meets that bar do we move forward.

Long-Term Relationships, Not One-Off Deals

We’re not interested in quick hits.

Every instructor we bring on is chosen with the long game in mind. That means working closely together, reviewing feedback, and ensuring they keep delivering at the level we expect.

When someone teaches with Awesomely, they become part of our extended family — and we take that seriously.

Why This Matters Today More Than Ever

The truth is, the education industry doesn’t have a great reputation right now. Too many people have been burned by flashy promises and shallow content.

That’s why we believe it’s not enough to ask, “What can you teach?”

We also need to know, “Who are you when the cameras are off?”

Because when you’re learning how to grow your money, you don’t just need information. You need mentors you can actually trust.

The Bottom Line

At Awesomely, we’ll always choose quality over hype. We’ll always prioritize trust over clicks.

And we’ll never hand you a program taught by someone we wouldn’t personally learn from ourselves.

That’s our filter. That’s our standard.

And it won’t change.
